We’re proud to share that one of Christie Farrell Lee & Bell’s attorneys, Kate Brown-Henry, has been nominated to the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Membership Oversight Committee. The AAJ is a nonprofit founded in 1946 as a resource for plaintiff’s attorneys and injury advocates to support those attorneys as they represent the injured. Kate’s passion for preserving civil justice for everyone motivated her to join the AAJ in 2012. She stepped up and became a member of the Board of Governors in 2016. “I’ve always thought it important to not only show up to AAJ events, but get other attorneys excited about the organization,” she said.
As part of the Membership Oversight Committee, Kate will help recruit new members to the organization. She will also take part in ensuring the experience of membership benefits the professional development of current members. This work to preserve a fair and effective justice system for all is essential to hold organizations and individuals accountable for their misconduct or negligence. The right to access the courts and have your story heard is what the AAJ and members like Kate work to protect. We are so grateful for Kate’s passion and commitment to justice and the great job she does for our firm and our clients.
