Attorney Laura Conyers has devoted her legal career to the practice of medical malpractice law; she has spent the great majority of that time representing plaintiffs in cases involving birth injuries, surgical errors, and other medical mistakes.
Prior to graduating from John Marshall Law School in 1998, Laura was a nurse for over a decade, caring for some of the most seriously ill patients in intensive care, coronary care, and hemodialysis units. In that capacity, she was able to witness firsthand the difference that quality of care makes for a patient. Laura’s medical knowledge and experience proved an invaluable asset when she began working in a plaintiffs’ medical malpractice law firm after law school.
Laura briefly moved to a firm that defended medical providers in malpractice cases, but soon realized that she missed advocating for patients and their families. She returned to representing those who had been injured by malpractice, now with added insight into the strategies of defense attorneys in those cases. She has continued to represent medical malpractice plaintiffs throughout Indiana for over 20 years.
Clients trust Laura not only because of her combined medical and legal experience, but because of her objectivity, sound judgment, and straightforward advice. She is motivated by compassion for her clients, and knows that they are relying on her clear-headed, effective advocacy to achieve justice for them.
